ESE, Inc. shared today; if you type in, “getting your b” into Amazon’s search box, the top result will show, “getting your book into libraries,” a phrase that did not exist in the search engine 30 days ago. When you click on this top result, at the top of the page, excluding paid Ads, will be CEO Eric Simmons’ new book, “Getting Your Book Into Libraries.” How did search words that didn’t exist one month ago, suddenly appear and move to the top of Amazon’s search results? Simmons believes Amazon’s search engine algorithm, similar to Google’s, began recognizing people were searching for and buying his new book at a rapid rate, thus causing the phrase people were searching for to move to the top of search results.
