Acquiring public libraries and their ranking by the American Library Association in terms of total Collections are New York (1), Los Angeles (4), Hennepin County (10), Detroit (12), Cleveland (14), Cuyahoga County (15), and Atlanta Fulton (25). "There are 9,057 Public libraries in the U.S. with 16,568 buildings. The "Top 25" are the standard bearers in my view, so the more of them we can get into, the odds of other libraries following go way up, I feel. Over the next 3-5 years, I would like to see, "Not Far From The Tree" and "#HTSP - How to Self-Publish" in half of the Public library buildings in the U.S." said Simmons.
